Chopper Ride

One of the great things to do on the Big Island is to take a helicopter ride over the volcano. We took a drive over to Hilo to take the Blue Hawaii Helicopter tour. It is a good one that we recommend. Of course, if you're large like Werner or me, you get to sit in the middle. If you're light, like "The Killer D's" you get to sit in the front. Most of the good pictures were taken by them. Look closely... you can see lava. It's red.

We made it back. I want to keep the life vest but I can't. Oh, well... guess I have to buy my own. (Just kidding, Di)
