T's 80th Birthday Party

I'm proud to say that Tommy Thompson thinks of me
as a friend. Diana and I have known Tommy since 1987 when we
went to an Old Globe Theater performance of a play that I cannot remember. I
remember Tommy, however, because he convinced Diana to sign up for a theater
series and we have been going to the Globe ever since.
Tommy had his 80th birthday and was faced with an
almost insurmountable problem. He had to choose 45 friends from the thousands of
people who consider him a friend. We were there and here are photos from the
night. It was wonderful.
