Nowell's Pictures

These are my favorite photos of the month. They are the product of my warped imagination. No one is responsible for these except me, unless you think they suck, in which case, I had nothing to do with them.

They have been downsized to 800 x 600 lo rez .jpg's to make them easier to post on the net. If you like them, I will print you a high quality copy and even pick up the postage to mail them because I get a rush from these things! Email your request and should you wish to follow it up with a check, make it payable to "Nowell Wisch."

BruceRest1.jpg (25120 bytes)
Sometimes accidents make cool photos. Jan turned my camera on to a setting that caused it to expose for 12 seconds. I covered the lens when I realized what was happening but got this image of Bruce anyway.

JCC-FreedmanWeb.jpg (22524 bytes)
From a photo assignment for the Heritage newspaper. I like the message and composition.

This is a composite of three different photos compiled in Photoshop.

AATouchdown1.jpg (14325 bytes)

Sometimes you get to sit by the window and see neat things.

DFWLineup1.jpg (14869 bytes)

Lots of planes want to take off at DFW.

DrZorba.jpg (47321 bytes)
A very bad hair day!

GhostKid.jpg (55235 bytes)

This is a very cool train car being restored at the San Diego Railroad Museum. Notice the kid in the window.

Sky.jpg (13625 bytes)
The sky's the limit.

June 2002

The theme this month is SHADOW DETAIL. I discovered  things called "Plug Ins" for my graphics program. My favorite is called Digital SHO from www.asf.com. It gives really good shadow detail and enhancement to my photos.

JCCStage1.jpg (47846 bytes)
All the world's a stage...

JCCPlay1.jpg (46780 bytes)
From the Streisand Festival. I like this shot!

Carrier1.jpg (45493 bytes)

An Aircraft Carrier leaving San Diego. I hope they do not add to the foreground on the trip. I did not enhance it except to add a little brightness because my settings have been off.

BeachBall.jpg (44523 bytes)

This Beach Ball was floating in Marie's pool. I just like the color. AT&T should think about using this as a logo.

Piper.jpg (58122 bytes)

This Piper was saying goodbye to Lloyd Cook. The detail in the background is the rifle honor guard.

PanoLewistonME1.jpg (40500 bytes)

Lewiston Maine panoramic. Very cool... only one boo-boo. I have been doing a lot of panoramic shots because the program came with my new printer.
