Huts, Stones and Flowers.

This page is under construction but there is lots to see. Look now and also stop back later.

We stayed in the general area because I didn't want to drive anywhere far. It was still nerve wracking. Scotland is like that... no matter how far you have to go, around the block or around the shire, it is an effort for a right-side driver.

Aberfeldy

My only day-time cigar on the trip.

"No Internet For You...!"
but I did have coffee and a cigar.

The back yard.

Barry.

Not sure why they advertise a toilet that doesn't work.

Don't know who this is but he came from these parts.

Scottish Crannog Center

The Crannog is a house built on stilts over the water. They are hundreds or thousands of years old... I forget. They were made entirely of natural things like trees and held together with vines. This is one of the coolest places we visited... much more interesting than distilleries. The staff are knowledgeable and the kids were very cute and funny.

Cluny House Gardens.
An exceptionally cool place. Wendy and John have done such a good job that this place is worth a trip to Scotland in itself. I don't know half of the flower names but I will get a half dozen greeting cards out of this one stop.

Barry says this is where he taught Diana how to pee while standing up. He's kidding, everybody... she already knew how to do that.

Wendy and John are the owners. It has been in her family for a long time.

Our Official Scotland Trip photo.

This is another of Barry's "Don't take my picture" tantrums.

The coolest photo I took all day.

The Stone Circle
Barry had only a few things on his "must see" list and stone circles were one. He found this one about three miles from the condo. It took me two days to get the best panoramic image of the place but it was worth it.

The panoramic image. This is 360 degrees with North in the center.
