Tyre problems and castles in the countryside.

Close... but not finished yet.

"Annnnndddddddd, away we go!" Well, sort of. After twenty miles, I hit a curb and destroyed the left front tyre on the car. While I fixed it, Barry took photos and Diana got tea and scones. A half hour later and we were on the way to Aberfeldy. We also stopped at some castles since the spare was a full sized tyre and worked really well.

On the road to Aberfeldy

You have to remove all the luggage from the trunk to get the spare.

These tyres just don't stand up to concrete curbs.

My hands will never be the same. We're talkin' serious dirt here.

No, I am not happy even though this looks like a trophy shot.

Thank goodness we found ourselves next door to a charming little tea room for Diana.

Downtown Aberfeldy.

Just to keep Barry amused, we are staying in cottage Dee.

Our little corner of the world.

Diana asks if the restaurant is good.

This is the only place open for dinner.

Barry photographs all his meals.

This is his.

This is DJ's. (I had soup)

I'm not entirely sure what is going on here. Given that traffic comes at you fast, from the wrong direction, I think this is really gutsy... or stupid.

I am seriously tired from the drive. This takes a lot out of you every time. You can stick this photo at the bottom of every page for accuracy.
