Arrival Day in Edinburgh.
Wednesday, September 12, 2007

It only takes a half day to get to Scotland from San Diego. It is easier if you do it in First Class on American. Once we got there, we took a van to the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Edinburgh. It was a nice hotel for the price. After a little nap, we took a walk and got dinner.

Diana meets Barry at the Airport

One of the most intresting things about Scotland, so far, is that the buildings are very monochromatic. The splashes of color come from flowers, signs and vehicles.

The buses and cars lend a bright touch to the buildings.

Tons and millions of flowers everywhere.

Just an image I liked.

The bright blue is an example of unexpected color.

This is for Jason Davis at TradeNet. He is occasionally known as "JD". If he doesn't want to do art, he can claim the sporting goods store in Edinburgh.

Barry is making this a business trip. Diana is shopping for jewelry. I'm trying to find allergy pills.

Ok... is it a door or a window?
My friend Rick's company called ROK. If he was in the building business, he could move to Edinburgh.
