Hangzhou

We went to Hangzhou because Perry arranged a car, driver and his friend Maggie to come along to translate. She works 7 days a week and doesn’t get out much. Besides, Kevin, our driver, didn’t speak any English so Maggie was our lifeline.

Hangzhou is a beautiful city with a huge lake that has boat rides, kites and more wedding couples than you can count. We went to the Lingyin Temple and made honors to Buddah. We also went to an Imperial Tea Room and walked up a lane and saw tea fields and chickens under umbrellas.

Really. Check out the photos. I wouldn’t lie.

See? It is a kite that looks like a butterfly. Almost sounds like a Beatles tune.
