The 3 Rivers Gorge

This is a long ride on the Yangzee River in a Russian built hydroplane local boat. We had a six hour tour, a heart stress test and a kung fu movie marathon.

It starts with a massive misunderstanding between us an the taxi drivers and almost ends on the steps of death.

That was a long day but a spectacular one.

When we get to Wanzhou, the tram is broken. What I first thought was a stairway soon became a cardiac stress test. Pull 100 lbs of luggage up 175 feet of stone steps and listen to your heart. It sounds like a bass drum in a marching band playing "Nearer my God to Thee." I passed.
