thousand dollars in fact. send it in small, unmarked bills or gold coins and we may, perhaps, give them back.
Oh, never mind. they left of their own accord, although they were last
seen driving a sable, not an accord. anyway, they had a good time but left to rejoin you in prescott. but, you
can still send us money. we need it to console ourselves in our grief that they took off.... yeah, right. we really
just want to have a good time on other people's money.

If you need more proof, just grab the paper and check the date. We would
not lie about this. Well, OK, we might lie about it, but you know we can't get away with it if the photo shows
the paper. Of course, it could be an elaborate ruse to trick you out of your money but then most of you are retired
and don't have much, anyway.
Oh, what the hell... just forget the whole thing and we'll keep them here. They will bear up. They're strong. |
