A good friend is dead. Well, he and I were not close so I suppose that "friend" is an incorrect term for our relationship but "friend" is how I'll remember him. 

I liked him for his lessons on life. He taught me that it is important to say what you mean when it's right to say it. He didn't stick around long enough to teach me when it is right to say it. I am trying to learn that on my own. 

I think of him as a good friend who is gone and that is the way I'll remember him. He was a man who had "Seventy-six ways" of saying "Thank You" and practiced them every waking minute of his life. 

I will try to be better tomorrow.
