NSA Hurricane Week
September 11-15, 200
6

It's known as Hurricane Week because there is a Hurricane somewhere on the East Coast every year we do this week. This was no exception (even upheld our record of rain in Greensboro) although it was a small hurricane, far away from Raleigh. Ken Berlekamp and I shared the car and did some off roading. Here are photos from the places we went.

Childress Winery

I'm pretty sure this guy is famous. He has something to do with racing, but I'm not a racing fan so I'm not sure. My son-in-law knows him and thinks he's cool, so, I guess that I do, too. No matter what he did, he has a really spectacular winery in the middle of North Carolina and serves a heckova lunch. His staff is wonderful, too.

Here are the San Diego Red Hat Ladies:

BMW museum- Spartanburg

The reason this is here is because the cafe has the second most organized condiment tray in the country. BMW has more style, however. (The first most organized is at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, KS.) (Click here to see what I mean: - The Condiments - The Women behind the Condiments )
